Campaigners in Otley are trying to save the Tittybottle Oak

Campaigners descended on Otley to try and save the Tittybottle Oak. They tied a yellow ribbon around the tree to show how much it means to the community. The tree is due to be felled later this month.

00:00So we locally we're up to nearly 2,000 with the petition. It's all over social media and

00:18there's a tiktok post gone viral. 34,000 likes with offers of support and help from all over.

00:26So people are really genuinely passionate about just one tree. People say it's just

00:31one tree, but then it's just one rainforest. And if everybody says it's just one tree,

00:37then there are no trees. And we're already on our way to wiping out the rainforests.

00:42And without them, the climate goes into even more chaos than it currently is now.
