00:22the National Museum of the Philippines, Bicol noticed
00:25the continuous rise in interest from visitors,
00:29which reached 40,000,
00:32a proof of the unparalleled enthusiasm and importance
00:36of people in the exciting culture and history of the region.
00:40According to the data released by the museum,
00:43an average of 3,300 visitors travel every month.
00:48But the biggest increase in people was in January 2024
00:53when it reached 5,506 to witness the magnificent exhibits of Bicol.
00:59One of the ten exhibits is the Bicolandia,
01:02land of volcanoes containing botanical, zoological, and geological specimens,
01:08rare species of plants, animals, and fossils
01:12that show the unique natural wealth of Bicol,
01:15along with the active volcanoes that hide in the hearts of every Bicolan.
01:20And of course, you can't miss the Mayon Volcano,
01:23a treasure trove of natural resources that always gushes from the viewing deck of the museum.
01:27A sight that will not only amaze you,
01:30but will give a different excitement and respect for the natural beauty of Bicol.

01:36Starting Monday or tomorrow, January 6,
01:39the NMP Bicol will open every day from 9am to 5pm.
