00:00The impeachment proceedings against South Korean President Yoon Seok-yool are now underway

00:04after he declared martial law.

00:07He said that martial law is needed to protect his country

00:12against the communist forces of North Korea

00:14and to remove elements that are against the government.

00:17However, after a few hours of declaring martial law,

00:20the military police entered the house of the National Assembly

00:24that voted against his decision.

00:26Defense Minister Kim Yong-kyun took his seat

00:30which is also related to the declaration of martial law of President Yoon.
