Scott Parker has been impressed with how Jay Rodriguez has grabbed his opportunity after struggling to get into the side just three weeks ago.

00:25really to take it and what you need to do is in those moments when you have some doubt

00:28or moments that look very bleak and look like there's not an opportunity coming, you

00:33need to stay at optimum, you need to keep working, you need to be at the best you can

00:37be so when that opportunity comes you can grab it with both hands. That's probably a

00:41reflection on Jay, where he is because for large parts of early on in this season he

00:47was a bit parked, let's get it right. It's down to him, his professionalism, the way

00:51he's gone about his work. That opportunity has come which happens very quickly in football

00:56and he's grabbed it really. Again, Jay's an experienced guy and someone I have huge respect for really.
