Scott Parker impressed by togetherness shown by his team

Burnley head coach has been impressed with the bond his side have developed after a short time together.

00:00That's probably the thing that surprised me the most, to be quite honest with you,

00:03because, as always, my main management,

00:08how I manage a team is first and foremost is to build a togetherness in a group,

00:11to build a bit of a siege mentality and a group of men that go on a journey this year,

00:16that at the end of it, they understand what's going to be needed to come out of it successfully.

00:20And they were that to a man.

00:22I must say, because you've referenced the fact, the travelling supporters,

00:25I think there was 3,000 here, they were incredible.

00:29And again, you know, I sit in this position and maybe you think that that's the thing to say in that sense,

00:34but they were nothing short of immense, really.

00:36And they were a driving force at times today and I keep referencing them.

00:40They will be throughout the season, really.

00:42So I'm really pleased with the togetherness, the group and where we sit at this present moment in time.
