00:00An early morning.
00:01Yes, I know.
00:02I'm so impressed that everybody looks so gorgeous this early in the morning.
00:05You can only do this with women.
00:06Yes.
00:07Only with women could we show up at a breakfast this early looking this fabulous and our brains
00:12actually operating.
00:13We got this.
00:14What is there that we can't do, right?
00:17Exactly.
00:18This is what today is all about, is how extraordinary women are.
00:22I love that because we're such multitaskers, we schedule this event early enough that we
00:27can still do everything else that we need to do today.
00:29If there's one thing about us, it's we're very efficient.
00:33Yes.
00:34Well, I had to ask, I know we're of course celebrating all these incredible women, but
00:38a lot of women are feeling disheartened right now, especially after such a polarizing election.
00:42So I wanted to ask, what would we do to move forward and how do you think Hollywood can
00:48help amplify our voices?
00:50I think everybody, no matter who you are, this is a moment where the world needs a lot
00:56more kind of love and compassion and looking out for one another.
01:02So I think it's important in this time to remember that truly, no matter who you are,
01:07you have something to offer, whether it's your time, your talent, your treasure.
01:10You can help make the world a better place.
01:12So think about what are the issues that I care about the most?
01:14Where do I want to have impact?
01:15And then figure out how to have a little bit of impact.
01:18It's going to be really important in this time for us to figure out where we can make
01:22a difference and then just throw ourselves in to do that.
