00:00As a professional grocery shopper, here's how I tackle the grocery store.

00:03After grabbing a buggy, I also grab a basket, then immediately go to the dairy section.

00:07Bread, peanut butter, and jelly is usually near the dairy, so double check your list

00:10while you're over there, then head to the meat department.

00:12This is where the basket comes in handy.

00:13I organize my list in the order of the direction I shop, so I don't miss anything.

00:17In the produce section, unless you're getting herbs, don't waste time or plastic with

00:20produce bags that you're just going to throw away when you get home.

00:22Always end in the freezer section to prevent things from thawing out before you get home.

00:30Grocery stores are laid out in a way that is psychologically the opposite of the way

00:34that I shop, and I've found that I'm way more efficient when I go backwards like this.
