00:00Mersey Rail have released their special festive timetable to keep the city region moving over
00:05the Christmas and New Year period.
00:07Trains will run every day except Christmas Day, with the Boxing Day service returning
00:11to support those attending events or heading out to indulge in retail therapy.
00:15On Christmas Eve, services will run right throughout the day, with the last trains departing
00:20around 8.30pm.
00:21On Boxing Day, the service will run from approximately 9am to 6pm, with trains calling at selected
00:26stations across the network.
00:28Additional services will be available between Liverpool and Aintree to support those attending
00:32the Boxing Day races.
00:34On New Year's Eve, services will operate as usual, with last trains departing around
00:388pm.
00:39On New Year's Day, a 30-minute Sunday service will run across all lines, helping customers
00:43kick off the new year with ease.

00:51Customers can also speak to staff at any staffed ticket office.
00:55Services on all other days will operate to the normal timetable unless stated.
