A three-day timetable will support racegoers and regular passengers, with additional services, timetable changes, and Tap & Go facilities across the network.

00:00Mersey Rail is providing a dedicated timetable for the Randox Grand National Festival to ensure smooth travel for racegoers and
00:08regular passengers over Thursday the 9th, Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of April.
00:14Frequent services will operate between Liverpool City Centre and Aintree with adjusted schedules on the Omskirk, Southport, Headbolt Lane and
00:22Wirral Line.
00:23On the Omskirk service, trains will not call at Aurel Park or Walton during peak race times and connections via
00:29moorfields are required for direct travel between Omskirk and Huntscross.
00:34Southport and Huntscross services will maintain continuous operation, although some stations, including Cressington, will be skipped.
00:41The Headbolt Lane line will run every 30 minutes with temporary start and endpoints at Sandhills during core festival hours,
00:48requiring changes for certain destinations.
00:51Chester and Ellesmere Port services on the Wirral Line will see timetable adjustments between 7 in the morning and 7
00:58in the evening, with passengers advised to change at Moorfields for Aintree services.
01:03The busiest day is expected to be on the Saturday.
01:07Regular services will continue alongside the special timetable, ensuring commuters can reach their destinations without disruption.
