00:00A very interesting door which I would like to mention was, script mein toh yeh nahi
00:11likha hai ki shaadi ko kitne saal hoya hai, lekin parde pe toh dikhana hai ki shaadi ko
00:15kahi saal hoya hai.
00:16So how would you do this?
00:17There's no trick, there's no formula, there's only your being, right?
00:22So these invisible things, you know, is agni mein shaad wo shine hoye and I, it was challenging
00:33for me to portray such invisible things which were not in the script but sir ke inputs se
00:41aaye the.
00:42So yeh jab create karna hota, it's a very challenging process but at the same time it's
00:47the most fun process and I enjoyed it to the T.
00:51I think she did the maximum homework for the character behind, you know, ki mein kahaan
00:55peda hui, kaunse lagat hui hai.
00:58And then there is one scene in the film which we had written as some random thing about
01:05her doing nazar utarna, drishta kaadne.
01:09But then she added that Maharashtrian touch to it.
01:13And I'll tell you one thing about actors, like actors like us, Jeetendra Joshi called
01:19me and he told me ke hum jab nazar utarte, Maharashtrians mein ek particular kuch cheeze
01:26boli jati hai.
01:27So he told me why don't you say all these things that we do at home.
01:31I said great, it's a great idea.
01:33So it was him who, you know, sort of called me and told me to do this.
01:38And you know, these small things.
01:39Also I think all of y'all, I mean the other lot also, Prateek and Jeetu and all, extremely
01:45secure hai.
01:47So they helped each other in their form, matlab yeh line isko de, I say why don't we do one
01:52thing.
01:53I remember one scene which is in the interval where he holds his collar and he came up to
01:58me and said why should I hold the collar like that.
02:01So I'm not going to tell things out, but it is just that they actually rubbed off on each
02:08other to be able to perform.
02:10And that's a sign of a security which is a great relief for me.
02:13No and for everyone, I mean even for us actors, if you get that kind of a vibe from your co-actor
02:20that he or she is not a secure person, I mean that's a last place you want to be at, you know.
02:26Absolutely, absolutely.
02:27It gives the creativity in a way.
02:28Yeah, definitely.
02:29Aur 60 jais saath mein hai toh, we enjoyed it.
02:33It was good fun.
02:35Humare yahan jugad culture zyada hai.
02:43I think technically, koi padhai karke strictly following, we're not a disciplined country
02:49I feel.
02:50Aur mujhe aisa lagta hai ki safety is, it's not in the essentials unfortunately, kyunki
02:57value hi nahi hai, ek human life yaar life ki value nahi hai aisa kheh sakte hai.
03:03So yeah, it gets very challenging and like you said, it plays a huge part, I think it
03:08does contribute.
03:09We have, all of us have to take responsibility.
03:11Yeah, everyone.
03:12You know, it's not just that the politicians or you know, the MLAs or MPs can fix this
03:17for us.
03:18It's us as people, how we take things for granted, like a small thing like crossing
03:23the road and you know, these days people are on their phone and you know, they would walk
03:27a certain way that it's okay, you know, gaadi rukh jaayegi mujhe.
03:31We just, we all have to be responsible for ourselves, you know, it's India, India hi
03:37nahi, there are many other countries who are, who don't have as big a land mass and you
03:41know, they are highly populated like you know, Thailand, Bangkok, all these places, but people
03:46are disciplined and you know, they understand the civic sense which is required to live.
03:52That I think we have a long way to go there.
03:54And Uday?
03:55I think it's the same.
03:58Also I think…
03:59It's a teamwork.
04:00Huh?
04:01And like, I was just thinking that we, you know, as people, we sometimes, because we
04:07made this film on 5x2, we are thinking, ke hum log bhar ghar ke bhaar jali laga dete na,
04:12manna, woh laga diya, humko lagta hai, hum secure hai.
04:15Everything in our mind is ke hum aur humara ghar secure hai.
04:18Hum log ek second woh darwada khulke bhar bhi nahi dekhte.
04:22Ab aag lagegi na, toh woh jali tolke kaise andar aayega yaar.
04:26Socho yeh sab jee na, manna, we are so selfish in our thoughts that we don't even think
04:31about ourselves.
04:32Actually.
04:33The people are just busy surviving.
04:42But yeah, the survival is the biggest thing.
04:44But again, not just in India, everywhere else in the world, survival is a big ask.
04:49You know, we are still very, very, we are a blessed land where, you know, we get the
04:53sun, we have all these seasons, humare aap chawal ukta hai, gehu ukta hai, and you know,
04:59we have food.
05:00We go to golden countries and see how much hard work people put in.
05:03So kahi na kahi hum log bahut hi na, comfortably numb wali jo baat uti hai na, waise wale state
05:09mein chale jaate hain.
05:10Ke jaise hi mera hota uske baad mujhe zyada dekhne ka zurat nahi hai, saath wale ke saath
05:14kya ho raha hai.
05:15Ya main jo kar raha hu, usko society pe kya repercussions hai.
05:18So we have to be awake and, you know, think about our future, how we are as people, what
05:24are we passing on to our kids, you know.
05:27We have to make a welfare state, you know, for that everyone has to come together.
05:32And I think nationalism or patriotism is what you call is about thinking about your neighbours
05:38first.
05:39Ya, you know, it's not about signal pe pehle mein nikal jaaun.
05:43You know, it could also be about, okay, you go first and then I'll follow you.
05:48But ya.
05:49I don't know, I mean, we can't really talk about how it'll help in general or how it'll
05:58change in general because we are not that qualified to talk about society as such and
06:04you know, thoda heavy sawal hai.
06:06It's changing for sure.
06:08Also as India, if you see na, we are still a very young nation.
06:12You know, it's just 75-80 years of this thing.
06:14So as a nation, we are in our teen ages right now.
06:18And hence, you see people are very active, they want to try out this also, this also.
06:22I think with due course of time, we will mature as a nation.
06:26We'll settle down.
06:27Ya.
06:28You know, and we'll understand what's going around us.
06:30Yes, there are opportunities to work, earn money and everything.
06:33But it's equally important to understand how to live your life.
06:37Right now, we all are very, very aggressive in our lives, you know, to earn money and
06:41new opportunities and wo sab theek hai.
06:43Just to take a step back, you know, take a breather, see what's happening, what you really
06:48want to do.
06:49Don't just, you know, keep running in a blind race.
06:52Idea, the bigger threat is with parenting, no, in this.
06:56Ya.
06:57When children are constantly exposed to those phones when they're eating and stuff like
07:01that, wo sab toh alagi Pandora's box kolla nahi chahiye.
07:05If we are going to follow trends, then we are going to learn out of them and we are
07:09going to go back to basics.
07:11Back to values, back to how it used to be.
07:15Kyunki, I believe ki we peak everything, we peak at everything, then the trend dies and
07:22then we are back to...
07:23So, I think we are in that process.
07:30So, almost everything is on set.
07:33Okay.
07:34We've done sets, we've done extension.
07:36But sets were also extremely small, so we had to do, find devices, we were cleverly
07:40doing it.
07:42I think the important aspect of this was planning.
07:47Because we planned a lot for the action the way it was supposed to be done.
07:52Not just with the action, but with the VFX supervisors also, because there was a lot
07:57of VFX also incorporated in.
08:00So, there were storyboards made, there were dummies made, dummies models made, there was
08:07staging done, there was green screen work.
08:09Previous done.
08:10So, a lot of that had been done in advance.
08:16Only then can you do such complex sequences easily, you know, so not easily means it's
08:22like in time and without any risk, major risk.
08:26So, it was pretty much planned.
08:28We had, I mean, once the film is released, then we can talk about how we did a particular
08:33sequence and stuff like that.
08:35A lot of planning went into it.
08:38And I think, again, like I always say, all departments actually, we used to sit down.
08:47Whether it's Monan, me, Deepa, Ravi, Tyagi, you know, Sumit Basu, all of us would sit
08:56down and like, we like to read with actors.
09:00We did this with the first ladies and stuff like that.
09:04We did that with the action sequences.
09:08So, yeah, I think so, you know, I mean, like I always say, paper costs nothing.
09:12Yeah.
09:13Shooting bhi ek baar gaye, then everything is so fast, everybody is under so much pressure
09:18to deliver.
09:24I think this kind of situation, this was quite planned, you know, you can't really improvise
09:29with a fire.
09:30You need to be…
09:32And, you know, honestly, for directors have to be most relaxed on set and you can get
09:39really relaxed when you have people like these around you.
09:42So it was a good thing, yeah.
09:49December Prime.
09:50Yeah, yes.
09:516th December.
09:52100%.
09:53So on that note, thank you so much and I wish you all the best for everything.
09:56Thank you for your amazing questions.
