00:00When Sir told me the story, I found the story very interesting, there was a lot of suspense and thriller in it and I have never played such a character before.
00:16And being an actor, you always have to explore different characters, so I didn't want to miss this opportunity.
00:26Mission Greyhouse, first of all, it's my debut, it's my acting debut, it's not like it's a debut on a big screen or a debut on a small screen.
00:39It's my first work, I haven't worked before this as an actor, whatever I have done is behind the cameras.
00:45So, becoming an actor itself was a big opportunity for me.
00:52So, how that role is, what it is, that was a long time ago, when I came to know that I was getting a chance to act.
00:58I jumped at it, let's do this. After that, the characters were made.
01:03I was on board from day one, so all the scripting, all the screenplay, we were all together.
01:09So, I understood a lot of things at that time. So, I never had any doubts about the character that it would be good or bad.
01:17I was always attached to this character and I'm glad whatever happened was good. So, no complaints.
01:23So, the genre is like, I feel that if your film is good, if you're entertaining people, then let it be in any genre, they'll love you.
01:39If your work is good and if you've done great work, the film is good overall, so I just think people do love you.
01:47We love the film as an actor, we love the film as a story.
01:49And our industry norms, I feel, is that a boy and a girl should be introduced to a romantic film or a masala film.
01:57So, I won't say that it's a lot, but there are a few elements in our film in which you'll get the introduction feel somewhere.
02:03That, okay, these people are actually getting introduced. So, it's not like we're just hitting on them.
02:07There are things in the film. Emotions are very strong.
02:11Friendship is shown well.
02:18Honestly, I don't want to reveal too much about the character.
02:21Because I feel that the characters are very important for the film to unfold.
02:28So, I can only tell you this much, personally, Pooja will tell you.
02:33My character has an arc, which is very common in films.
02:38The character has arcs. Similarly, this character also has an arc.
02:41It's like a full 180. If it starts from here, it comes here.
02:46So, basically, it's a whole story of why this boy was like this, what he did, how he became like this.
02:51So, I feel like it gives me also and the audience also great closure.
02:55How did he complete this arc? So, that's the only thing I want to say.
03:00And I had told my character that I'm playing an inspector.
03:04And as he is my friend and as our director sir had told him that he has to become a police inspector, but without studying.
03:11So, if you want to become a police inspector, you have to do something.
03:17So, for that, my dad gives us the responsibility that you go and find out why that mystery is happening and who is doing it.
03:24So, if he can solve it, then maybe he will become a real police inspector.
03:29We are very honest. Yes, I'm telling you honestly.
03:40Look, I'm a boy. Now, you know, we are a little naughty.
03:44We have a lot of fun. Shortcuts.
03:47Look, it's a public platform.
03:50I don't want to encourage others to do all that.
03:54We have a lot of fun. We have taken shortcuts somewhere.
03:57But yes, it's not good to take shortcuts.
04:01Please take the long way. Don't do shortcuts.
04:04Because it's safe. If you take a shortcut, it will go straight down.
04:13Sir, look, when I started, I was a very fat kid.
04:19Like I was 105-106 kgs at that time.
04:21So, I started at that time.
04:23So, we started by reducing the weight.
04:28Little by little, slowly, slowly.
04:30After a certain point, we started doing action training.
04:34I trained a little under a known action director.
04:39But if I tell you exactly, it was typical Bollywood training.
04:44Like old heroes used to fight.
04:48So, it was great.
04:50I won't say that I didn't enjoy it.
04:51It was fun to learn.
04:52But the proper action training started.
04:54I was very late.
04:56When the film was being reshooted.
04:58So, I learned action from scratch.
05:01And from there, our sir, Mr. Surendra.
05:04He taught me everything from the beginning.
05:07So, it took a lot of training to do action.
05:11Yes, same. We went together to take training.
05:15He was an action director.
05:16He was training us like Bollywood actors.
05:19But it's okay.
05:20When you don't know anything.
05:22When you learn new things.
05:23You enjoy it.
05:24And we were enjoying it too.
05:25Because we were learning something new.
05:27And we were excited.
05:28Because we had to perform it in our film.
05:31And when the reshoot happened.
05:33We learned new things.
05:36And yes, like he said.
05:37He worked very hard.
05:40And I witnessed it.
05:41Because when I met him for the first time.
05:43And when I saw him in the film.
05:45There was a lot of change in him.
05:48Because earlier he was 105.
05:51And now you can see.
