00:00Football in the Central Zone is in good hands. So says Alan Ramjas, who is the marketing
00:06chairman attached to the Central Association for Football, also known as CAF. The association
00:11held its awards function recently, at which Ramjas spoke about the objectives.
00:16What we have recognised in Central Association Football, talent exists. That's the first
00:21thing, right? The objective of the Central Association for Football is around growth
00:27and development. It's around inclusion, recognising the avenue and creating a vehicle, not just
00:35a central football, but football at a national level. The Central Association for Football
00:45have been doing tremendous work when it comes to growth and development with our youth.
00:50According to Ramjas, there are plans of having a community caravan for football to take the
00:55sport to different parts of Central Trinidad. After all, the aim is to have more participants.
01:01We are also planning to work with all stakeholders, coaches, administrators and all football teams.
01:13We are seeking to also grow the number of teams in Central Trinidad that will be participating.
01:21Without proper management, things fall apart. Ramjas is fully aware of that, hence the reason
01:27the CAF members want to ensure that things continue to run properly.
01:31The growth and development of football not only depends on the competition we run, but
01:35we also recognise the role that the administrators and coaches and clubs play when it comes to
01:41football development. I would like to thank every team for participating and we are looking
01:46forward to working with all these teams when it comes to football in Central. We are also
01:51seeking to work with our energy partner companies in Central Trinidad, India State and we are
01:58seeking your support.
01:59Based on what's happening in TNT at the moment, Ramjas also wants a lot of attention to be
02:04paid to the youngsters so they may one day go on to play at the highest level.
