00:00It's a big travel weekend after Thanksgiving,
00:01so let's take a look at what to expect.
00:04One thing to note,
00:05just wait a little bit longer if
00:06you're trying to head out and get
00:08on the road after 10 AM,
00:09things are going to get a little
00:10bit better on the roads there.
00:12That is fair,
00:12and tomorrow you'll actually want
00:14to do it earlier as is Sunday.
00:15So if you're a morning bird or an early
00:17riser, that's the time that you want
00:19to get out and take advantage of
00:21slightly more open roads.
00:22I don't know if that's a thing
00:24this weekend at all,
00:25but maybe more open roads.
00:26And if you even want to wait
00:28just till tomorrow,
00:28conditions get a little bit better.
00:30We're seeing a lot of green on the map.
00:32Yeah, a lot of green.
00:33The lake effect snow belts will
00:35be the worst travel trouble.
00:36You'll also see that swath of snow
00:38starting to develop that you were
00:39talking about there from Missouri
00:41into Southern Indiana. Yeah,
00:42not a big snow event,
00:43but you know how it can be in these areas.
00:45Sometimes even just a little bit
00:47of snow creates some problems.
00:48It certainly can very quickly
00:50as we go about today.
00:51Our focus will be around the
00:52Great Lakes for that snow trouble.
00:54Taking a look at the national maps.
00:56Basically we do have a snow
00:57forecast for tomorrow.
00:58We do have some low clouds there
01:00towards the I-5 Corridor, Seattle,
01:02Portland.
01:02Those will be our holdups for the
01:04afternoon or for the morning.
01:05I should say and maybe even lingering
01:07into the afternoon in those locations.
01:09Chicago few snowflakes shouldn't
01:10be a problem and New York City.
01:11If we get a few rain showers,
01:13not a big deal there.
01:15Flight cancellations much
01:15lower than yesterday,
01:16so that's some great news for us,
01:18but they do come up a little bit on Sunday,
01:21but I don't even think that's a huge issue.
01:23And as you saw tomorrow,
01:25we're still looking at some travel
01:26around the Great Lakes with that
01:28lake effects now.
