00:00The circular economy is, in my opinion, the founding actor of the West and of the whole world.
00:17Today we have an index of circularity of 18%.
00:22In Europe we are in second place, but considering the objectives we have on a general level,
00:29considering what is the world of packaging, packaging in Italy,
00:32packaging waste in Italy today is 8% of the total waste,
00:35but we do a lot because 75% is already recycled,
00:40and this means raw material that is saved.
00:43What is shown in this integrated sustainability relationship
00:48is precisely the economic, social and environmental value of the circular economy,
00:52although limited to a sector of packaging waste, which is smaller than the others.
00:58So the invitation to what we should do, like all of us,
01:01is to address and increase the circularity of our economy.
01:05There is still a lot to do in many sectors.
