00:00The Department of Budget and Management or DBM reported infrastructure spending rose in September.

00:06The infrastructure expenditure surged to 137.1 billion pesos up 16.9 percent

00:12from 117.3 billion in the same month last year. The increase was driven by robust investments

00:19in public works, transportation, and national defense projects. In the January to September

00:24period, infrastructure and other capital outlays went up to 14.6 percent to 982.4 billion pesos

00:32from 857.6 billion pesos in the same period in 2023.
