00:07When she first started hissing at me that much, I was at first a little bit concerned.

00:11I sent one of the videos to her dad and was like, is this normal?

00:14And he was like, yep, she's got a lot to say.

00:17She's always been super spicy, super vocal.

00:24You just came to me.

00:26Hi. Oh my goodness.

00:32And we just kind of hung out.

00:34Like I would just sit on the floor with my books and study.

00:39I gave her lots of treats.

00:49Found out pretty quickly that she loved to play with one of those fishing cat toy thingies.

00:56She really just wanted to hang out.

00:59There was definitely a turning point when she would start to come up to me for attention.

01:06Like she would actually approach me.

01:08And we definitely made a lot of progress together.

01:11When she started choosing to be with me rather than being elsewhere, I was like, okay, she likes me.

01:18I guess quality time is her love language.

01:25It's really fun when you encounter a creature like Maple, who is such a unique kind of personality.
