00:09and this is what's on my plate.
00:13First thing I do when I wake up
00:14is I take my water with all of these supplements
00:18before I work out.
00:19Like it's literally water with a bunch of stuff in it.
00:23Then I have coffee after my workout,
00:25and I make breakfast.
00:28I am an espresso girl.
00:30I usually drink a cortado.
00:32I think it's called macchiato,
00:33which is espresso with a stain of milk.
00:36I like sometimes a little French Vanilla Coffee Mate
00:40as my stain of milk,
00:42but I like my coffee strong,
00:44so it's usually a couple of cortados.
00:47If I'm out and I order my Starbucks,
00:49it's usually like a four-shot latte,
00:52which basically just is like a really big cortado
00:54because it's mostly espresso more than milk.
00:58My Starbucks order also is like four-shot tall latte,
01:01so I hate when they're like,
01:02oh, you want a grande?
01:03I'm like, no, no, no,
01:03I want a small cup with a lot of shots,
01:06and I'll get like one pump.
01:08You know, normally you put three,
01:09and it is so sweet.
01:10I'm like, who can drink three pumps of that sugary stuff?
01:14It's too much.
01:15I'm a regular milk kind of girl.
01:17I'm not oat, soy, coconut, blah, blah, blah.
01:21I like a cow's milk.
01:22Yeah.
01:24I love raw milk,
01:26and when I can find it at the farmer's market,
01:28it's the best thing.
01:29The only thing is it goes bad really fast,
01:30and I can't even drink it fast enough,
01:32but raw milk in my coffee is the best,
01:35the best, the best, the best.
01:36Taste and the best for your body.
01:40I really eat the same thing for breakfast every day
01:45since I was a child, which is breakfast tacos.
01:48So I will make fresh flour tortillas.
01:52My son will not wake up
01:53without the smell of fresh flour tortillas.
01:56The one I eat is egg whites and potatoes.
01:59The one my son eats is scrambled eggs and potatoes.
02:01Sometimes I'll put chorizo or soyrizo in my eggs.
02:05So I'll make my breakfast taco with papa con huevo,
02:08is what we call it, potato and egg,
02:09and a side of beans.
02:11And so you slop up the beans with the flour tortilla.
02:14I never do takeout for breakfast.
02:17I will make my breakfast taco and wrap it up
02:20and go in the car and eat my breakfast taco.
02:22If I'm really in a rush, I will make my tortilla with beans.
02:25But like, there's no world I'm ever in a rush
02:27and can't make flour tortillas.
02:29Like, there's just no world.
02:31After breakfast, I am hungry about a couple hours later.
02:34I eat a lot during the day.
02:36So I usually try to do a Greek yogurt parfait of some sort,
02:39like Greek yogurt, another protein powder of some sort,
02:44granola, and some berries.
02:46That will keep me full usually till lunch.
02:51I love lunch.
02:52I'm a soup girl and I'm a hot meal girl.
02:55I need hot meals.
02:56At lunch, I hate, like, have a sandwich and a salad.
02:59I'm like, where's the hot stuff?
03:00It needs to be a hot meal.
03:03Unless it's like a Cuban sandwich, which is hot,
03:06or a Philly steak sandwich, which is hot,
03:08but like a cold club.
03:11I hate when people order that.
03:12You're like, can I have a club sandwich and fries?
03:14I'm like, mm-mm.
03:16So I love a soup, but I like hearty soups.
03:19I will make like an albondiga soup.
03:22I'll make a chicken soup and I'll just pack that to go
03:26and I'll have one of my soups.
03:27If it's not soup, I usually do a meat bowl.
03:29I like for it to be like a protein bowl.
03:31So I add meat, I add beans,
03:33and then I add avocado, salsa, cheese.
03:37If I have mushrooms, I'll saute some mushrooms,
03:38throw that in there.
03:39If I have squash, I'll saute that and throw that in there.
03:42If I have spinach, kale, whatever is in my fridge,
03:45I usually throw it into my meat bowl.
03:46And Siete, they have these amazing seasoning packets.
03:50So they have fajita seasoning, beef seasoning,
03:52lemon pepper seasoning, and I'll add that
03:54into my ground beef, or I'll do ground chicken,
03:56I'll do ground turkey.
03:57I try to mix it up, but I love a beef bowl.
04:00I'm a consistent workout person,
04:02so I'm always trying to sneak protein
04:03into every meal, every snack.
04:05So sometimes if my mid-morning snack
04:08is not a Greek yogurt parfait,
04:09it'll be four turkey sausage links.
04:12And I'll make that at home and I'll take it with me.
04:14You know what I like sometimes, are the beef sticks.
04:17So it's the new Slim Jim, but it's a beef stick.
04:20So it's like all beef, no weird shit in it.
04:23And it's like super packed with protein.
04:25I also like Quest chips.
04:27They're super high in protein and really good flavors.
04:33Oh my God, I am such a hangry person.
04:36That's why I prep all my meals.
04:38I always have a Tupperware in my purse.
04:40I'm like, I'm not gonna lie,
04:42in my purse.
04:43I'm like, I'm not gonna get hungry, so I don't get hangry.
04:46I know I'm getting hangry because I'll usually get a headache
04:49and like it physically makes me feel ill.
04:53I feel also sleepy.
04:55Like I'm like, no energy.
04:56And the minute I eat and I'm like, I'm back.
05:01I love cooking dinner.
05:03Like I think about it all week and I plan out menus
05:05and I'm like, it's probably my favorite time of day.
05:08I'm gonna bake some bread from scratch.
05:11I'm gonna make pasta from scratch.
05:12I'm gonna simmer this short rib for 24 hours
05:16so I can put it in my ragu.
05:18Tacos is the most requested dinner.
05:21I'm like, I made this bolognese.
05:22My husband's like, can we put it in a taco?
05:24We don't have taco Tuesday.
05:25We have like taco Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
05:27One night we'll do fish tacos.
05:28Another night we'll do shrimp tacos.
05:30Another night we do beef and chicken tacos.
05:32Another night we'll do a tostada night.
05:34So we'll do portabella mushroom tostadas.
05:37We'll do tostadas de atun, which is sushi grade tuna.
05:40And then when it comes to cocktails, what do we have?
05:42Oh my God, we're having tequila.
05:45And tequila goes with everything
05:46because obviously you can do a margarita and a paloma
05:49but I'll usually make an espresso martini with tequila
05:52or I will make a Mexican mule with tequila,
05:55an Aperol spritz with tequila.
05:58I think tequila is a really good spirit too.
06:00Also cleanse the palate, get your stomach ready.
06:02It's a great aperitif.
06:04I have a flaming hot margarita
06:06that mixes crushed flaming hot Cheetos as your rim.
06:10And it gives it this savory punch to your sweet margarita.
06:17If we order takeout for dinner,
06:18it's from a really nice place.
06:20It'll be Sushi, Mr. Chow, Spago's or Avra for a fresh fish.
06:26We're not ordering burgers or pizza normally.
06:29You'll catch me in Wendy's sometimes.
06:31I worked there in my high school years
06:32so I do have a fondness for a square patty.
06:35A single with cheese, everything on it.
06:37Mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup.
06:39A baked potato, sour cream and chives,
06:41extra sour cream and chives.
06:43And a Frosty.
