00:00As an actor, I was craving something different. I was really yearning to work with a really great
00:08filmmaker to have a very interesting, compelling story. I think that's the joy of filmmaking,
00:15right? You get to take people on a journey and make people feel things. It's just been such a joy.
00:30I love real stories about people, and though this was a bit of a fever dream,
00:39it was actually one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had. I think a lot of people
00:45can take away so much from this movie. It was so beautifully told. I think specifically my
00:50experience was so transformative and beautiful, and to be able to stand next to Carla is an honor
00:58of mine. It is a pleasure. She is one of the most incredible human beings I've ever met.
01:04I'm very strong, and I love her family. I think for me, I feel like I'm witnessing history,
01:10and I hope that this is just the beginning of opportunities for people like her. I know,
01:17as silly as it sounds, but I've learned so much from films that I've loved and
01:22grown up watching. I don't know. I feel like there's something for everyone.
01:29Music is my soul. It definitely is something I'm constantly thinking about. Even if it's just me
01:37singing along in the radio to the same five songs that I listen to over and over again,
01:42I think music is always going to be a part of who I am. It was beautiful to be able to step into
01:50a totally different field of music because it has nothing to do with my music, and it feels
01:57like it was raw and bare and challenging. It was very different than what I'm used to, for sure.
02:05It's going to be tough to beat, but I think my goal has always been to work with people
02:09that are like-minded, that are real storytellers. I would much rather be
02:18in a movie and have a small part if it's a great story. I just really have missed acting a lot.
02:30Professionally, I am so excited and feel like it's just the beginning. I can't even say I've
02:38worked with all the filmmakers I wanted to work with and all the actors that I'd love to work
02:43with. All the different people I'm dying to meet, even people who are up and coming,
02:49I get so excited about the whole process of movie making or TV. It's just been such a joy
02:56to spend more time in this world because I feel like I belong, and it's a nice feeling.
03:02What makes me happy is living my life as authentically and as real as I possibly can.
03:10That means being in the grass and feeling it and watching my boyfriend garden,
03:18because I can't do that, but it's so beautiful to just stop and take in where you're at and
03:24be grateful and be humbled by it. Then what drives me is my passion and love for other
03:31people and their stories. I love telling stories however they look.
