00:07has announced the Digitalisation Initiative of the Jalan JPJ Road Transport Office
00:12which involves motor vehicles or road taxis and Malaysian drivers.
00:18This initiative has been implemented in a series of stages,
00:21with the first phase involving the digital display mode ELKM and ELMM
00:27for individual vehicles that can be accessed through the JPJ public portal or the MyJPJ mobile app.
00:35Since the JPJ Digitalisation Initiative was launched,
00:38the Ministry of Transport and JPJ has always been committed
00:41to improving the MyJPJ application from time to time
00:45to increase the level of service delivery on the road to the public.
00:49Among the current improvements,
00:51the latest improvement is the introduction of a new motor vehicle licensing function
00:56and a new driver's license that has been opened to the public since 1 February 2024.
01:03The sharing function of the ELKM has also been introduced to the public,
01:08stopping complaints about the use of other people's cars.
01:12Now, the owner can share the ELKM with family members or related individuals.
01:18The Ministry of Transport and JPJ has designed to implement
01:21a phase-by-phase improvement of the MyJPJ application
01:25from time to time,
01:27mainly due to the improvement and cost savings that have been allocated.
01:31In this regard, improvements to provide a notification notification function,
01:36especially the ELKM tempo,
01:38are among those that have been planned in the JPJ Digitalisation Agenda.
