Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores talked about the differences he saw in the Bears offense in just one week with Thomas Brown calling offensive plays.

00:00Brian, what do you see from how the Bears shifted under Thomas Brown calling plays here?

00:04I thought they did a nice job the other day.

00:10I thought there was, I thought they ran the ball well.

00:15I thought they did a good job on third down.

00:17We watched it as a staff and try to see some of the differences there.

00:23It's not all totally different.

00:25There's some carry over from what they've done in the previous nine weeks or

00:31nine games, but certainly some differences formationally.

00:37And just, it's a different play caller, so the runs,

00:42the passes, there's no way to get tendencies right now for one game.

00:46But I thought he did a nice job.

00:49They moved it.

00:50They picked up third downs.

00:51They controlled the clock.

00:52They ran the ball.

00:54I imagine they'll try to stay with kind of that formula, but

00:58they've got enough skill, they've got enough skill players and

01:03enough different types of players to really play any style.

01:07So we'll see what we get, and every week we have to just go in,

01:12play good technique, good fundamentals, good communication.

01:17Get a feel for what the game feels like or looks like.

01:22And then either our plan is what we thought or we have to make adjustments.

01:26So, but yeah, they did a lot of nice things last week.

01:31Right, when you say watched as a staff, is that all together or

01:34just you guys individually and then coming together after?

01:37Yeah, we watched it as a staff and normally it's some combination.

01:41Every week's a little bit different.

01:43Sometimes I'll say, hey, let's all watch this together or

01:46let's watch it individually and talk about the run game, talk about the play.

01:51Actually, you can talk about third down this week because it's a little different.

01:55First time, Tom's had called it, so figured we'd watch it together and

02:00see, because everyone had already watched them over the first half of the season.

02:11And just to kind of get some dialogue on what's different for

02:15game plan may be a little bit different based on one play call from another.
