00:00Our first team meeting, talk about our players as far as plan of attack moving forward.
00:11All right, so before we talk about X's and O's, before we talk about the game plan
00:15for San Fran, I talked about making sure our house is right to begin with.
00:20So the initial goal is to unify this football team.
00:26Staying the same accord, moving the same direction, speaking the same language, and attacking
00:31together.
00:32Talked about the penalties, pre-snap penalties were all kind of bored down to a lack of focus.
00:38So a one play at a time mentality, after that play is over with, hit the reset button, get
00:42back in the huddle, go do it again, and over and over again.
00:45I just talked about as far as our identity as a football team.
00:50I said this initially, always believe in the standby, football is a violent game, it rewards
00:57those that play the game violently.
01:00So physical in every position is going to be our mentality.
01:03On the defensive side of the ball, Eric Washington will call our defense, I have tremendous trust
01:07and faith in him, and I am not a micromanager, so obviously we'll be around to be involved
01:13with their game plan, but I trust those guys 100%, and I'll probably be the first interim
01:19head coach or head coach in history to stay in the box, I'm not going to do that, so I'll
01:22be on the grass.
01:23I thought about it though, but it's probably too aggressive to begin with.
01:29On game day, we'll execute, don't panic, do a great job communicating, be poised in the
01:36moment, make a decision and go roll with it, that's the thought process.
