00:00So, well, looking at Everton and the January window, obviously, you know, we've mentioned

00:06a number of times the lack of finances they've had to work with, you know, with the takeover

00:11coming in and the sort of rebuild possibly happening within the next year or so, how

00:16important is this January window? Obviously, Everton, sorry, don't want to fall into that

00:21trap of a relegation fight again. They want to be continuing to fight in it. And so how

00:27important is January for them? Yeah, it'll be interesting. I think it'll take over. You'd

00:33like to hope it's going to be completed by then. But will Everton be massively affected

00:39in terms of what they can do in the markets? I'm not too sure because of profits and sustainability

00:45rules, but I'm sure the Freakons would like to give Everton some money to go out and spend

00:51and bring in a couple of players. If not, Sean Dyche might have to be careful in what

01:00he does. It might be a little bit like the summer where he has to get deals in that work

01:05for the club in terms of finances. Personally, I'd like to see Everton go out and get a left

01:11back. Vitaly Mikhalenko is the only out and out option at the minute, and he hasn't quite

01:18hit the same heights as he did last season. He was solid last season, but he struggled a little

01:25bit. Maybe that's against the backdrop of the ankle injury. He suffers in the Merseyside Derby

01:30and he raced back to get fit for the Euros, had problems again in the summer, maybe just hasn't

01:36quite got over that injury. And I think competition is always a good thing in squads as well. A little

01:43bit of pace out wide is what Everton are lacking. Jesper Lindström has done okay so far. He's

01:49still acclimatising, though he can add that little bit of pace, but they need more from the

01:54wingers, I think. Iliman Indai deserves a go in number 10 role, maybe. Jack Harrison hasn't quite

02:02done it so far this season, so some additional pace, definitely. And then it might depend on

02:09what happens with, maybe, will there be any more outgoings? I don't know. Obviously, the one that

02:15you're looking at is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He's into the final year of his contract.

02:20He's been struggling for form in recent games. You can say that Everton haven't given him a lot

02:25of service up front. It's been a little bit of a thankless task for him, leading the line on his

02:30own. But if an offer came for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, would Everton look and think, well,

02:36you know, I think he paid £1 million from Sheffield United for him years ago. Whatever

02:40they make would be pure profit on the books, which would be good for PSR rules. But

02:48are Everton willing to take that risk? Is it worth selling Dominic Calvert-Lewin for,

02:52I don't know, £10 million maybe, maybe a bit less, only to have one fewer option up front?

03:01And then you're struggling. We all know the finances that it means to stay in the Premier

03:07League, especially with the moves to the new stadium coming. So I think Sean Dye can direct

03:12the football. Kevin Fellow will be looking at it, thinking what they can do. But it might

03:16be difficult again.
