00:00How do you like fighting in the tournament format that the PFL has, you know, a lot of

00:06fighters, it's different.

00:07You see a lot of guys kind of do the decisions and kind of play it safe through the first

00:11couple of fights because you don't want to get hurt and knocked out.

00:13But you know, that doesn't seem to be the way you go.

00:15You go full steam.

00:16You go exactly like you would as in any other fight and just running through guys.

00:20Yeah, I believe when you're a champion of life and anything like that's your standard

00:24of who you are.

00:25It's not, oh, let me play safe and try to play this point system.

00:30I think that's the smartest way.

00:31Like, you're going to look back on your life one day and say you kind of did the bare minimum

00:34just to make it, right?

00:35No, like I take them out, right?

00:39And that's what prepares me for moments like this fight with an excellent opponent.

00:43When I fought Nadal, it didn't matter who it was.

00:45I'm not going to play safe because I won the title before or this like, oh, you know, you

00:49can clinch it.

00:50No, like you're fighting, right?

00:53Somebody's trying to take you out.

00:54Like the best way to respect your opponent is to beat them as badly as they can be beaten

00:58And these are excellent fighters.

01:00These are top fighters.

01:01We want the PFO to grow.

01:02You can't go out there and just like slow pedal.

01:05You don't fight where you're taking people out left and right.

01:09That's my standard of who I am.

01:10I always want to raise it to be better.

01:12Going through the season, like I love it because I get to stay active and fight.

01:17Do you have different moments where you feel it on your, you feel it on your body?

01:21Yeah, you have different challenges, but that's part of it.

01:24Like you're on a warpath.

01:25For me, I look at it like, I look at, I'm very, very blessed, you know, we'll see next

01:32year.

01:33I mean, like I've taken guys out in the light heavyweight division back to back years.

01:36Now it's like when I claim this victory on the 29th, I just want to, I just want to see

01:43who's the best ones yet.

01:44Right.

01:45It'd be fun to do some crossover fights and take out the best fighters in the world.

01:48Like, you know, for three-odd season to set that up or if, you know, PFL set it up, whatever

01:54the case might be.

01:55I want to fight the best fighters, you know, taking out Johnny Eblen after and Francis

02:02Ngannou.

02:03Those are the guys that I really, really want to fight, but, you know, I have Douglas Sun

02:07One fight at a time and I'm grateful that these opportunities by fighting the season

02:12twice has really just like put me in a position to fight the best in the world.
