00:04together with the Board of the Loss and Damage Fund

00:07in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change

00:11the other day, according to the PNA.

00:14Because of this, the country is leading the fund operations

00:17for vulnerable communities in different countries

00:20that are more likely to be affected by calamities.

00:23According to the Environment Secretary

00:25and Head of the Philippine Delegation Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga

00:30this is a historic step in the Philippines

00:34as a country that is often exposed to natural disasters.

00:39The Secretariat also gave the importance of the funds

00:42to address the effects of climate change

00:45as well as the rebuilding, recovery, and resilience of a country

00:51towards the face of calamities.
