00:07how will the government po protect our OFWs, especially women?
00:14How do we protect po our OFWs?
00:17Well, we do not make the differentiation between men or women.
00:24But sa OFW natin, siyempre tutulungan natin.
00:28And to protect them, we have to depend on the locals, the local authorities.
00:34Dahil wala naman tayong military doon, wala naman tayong police doon, wala naman tayong courts doon.
00:43Ngunit dahil sa magandang performance ng ating mga OFW, talaga namang tinutulungan sila.
00:50They are being kept safe by the governments, the countries where they have been working.
00:56Ang maaari lang natin gawin ay i-uwi yung mga gusto ng umuwi.
01:00And for that, we have made many arrangements.
01:05We are arranging charter flights kasi medyo lumuwag na ang sitwasyon.
01:10Yung lumipad na Emirates coming out of Dubai, naka tatlong flight na yata tayo.
01:16Dubai-Manila yun, mga Dubai-Manila.
01:19So that's direct.
01:21And yun, naisakay natin yung mga ibang Pilipino.
01:24But now that the Emirates has decided that it is safe enough for them to fly,
01:29and it should be safe enough also for us to charter airplanes para maisakay yung mga ibang Pilipino na nais
01:38umuwi.
01:38And there are two flights that we are planning.
01:42One is out of Riyadh, para sa mga nasa Saudi, sa Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
01:51Yung isa naman, out of Fujaira in the UAE to transport yung mga Dubai OFWs.
02:01We are hoping to bring D&D and Kaap personnel.
02:06In fact, I know that Secretary Hans Kaktak is taking the flight to Dubai.
02:13Sabi ko sumakay siya para makapag-report siya ng mabuti kung ano ba talaga ang sitwasyon dun.
02:18And he will be doing that.
02:22Ang nabuksan pa ay there's now a land border crossing from the UAE and from Israel.
02:28Sorry, yeah, that will be arriving tomorrow respectively.
02:32So maisasakay din natin yan sa mga aeroplano.
02:36So, galing Israel, UAE, puro land border crossing, Oman.
02:43A group from UAE is arriving tonight.
02:46The Israel group of 16 tomorrow night naman.
02:52The target date of departure from Fujaira in the UAE is March 13.
02:59ETA Manila, gabi ng March 13 or early morning of the 14th.
