00:00Our girl Martha finally dropped her Netflix documentary and these are the most shocking

00:03revelations from the film. Despite the fact that Martha was obsessed with perfectionism,

00:07her marriage to Andy Stewart was anything but. Despite being married for 29 years,

00:11Martha herself admitting to kissing someone on their honeymoon, later having an affair,

00:15and her husband had quite a few girlfriends according to Martha herself. He even had an

00:18affair with one of her employees who lived on the family property. Her relationship with her

00:22daughter Alexis was also talked about a lot in the film and despite the fact that the two are

00:26very close, they have a complex and difficult relationship. Lexi herself said she grew up in

00:30a quote very uncomfortable house. Martha might be really well known as a television personality now.

00:35Her publisher at the time, Time Inc., did not want her to appear on television. In fact,

00:39they were concerned that it would hurt magazine sales. They were wrong. Oh and you want to talk

00:43about the ultimate betrayal? Martha's best friend actually testified against her in court and helped

00:48put her in prison. So then poor Martha goes to prison and in prison she is dragged into solitary

00:52confinement and not given food or water for 24 hours just for accidentally touching a guard.

00:57After prison, Martha's feeling like she lost her mojo a little bit. Her career has taken a

01:01little bit of a downturn. She starts to make a comeback when she appears on Justin Bieber's

01:05Comedy Central roast and not only is it when she starts to turn things around career-wise,

01:10it's when she meets Snoop Dogg who's now a friend and collaborator and it was at that roast

01:15where they landed on their idea for their show.
