00:00Kansas was a favor by about five and a half to six points at game time.

00:03They win their game 77 to 69.

00:06The key ingredient here, of course, it's Hunter Dickinson.

00:0835 minutes played yesterday.

00:10Dubsy, 13 of 21 from the floor, which included a made three point shot,

00:14got to the line, wasn't all that effective,

00:16but still scored 28 points along with those 12 rebounds.

00:19He was the key to the victory yesterday for the Kansas Jayhawks over the Spartans.

00:23And well done to Bill Self becoming, I guess,

00:27the winningest coach there in Kansas history.

00:30So for the number one team in the nation,

00:32they had to play a bit of bully ball early in this one.

00:35Michigan State, the Spartans came ready to rock and roll and give them an absolute test,

00:39which is, you know, the scary thing about some of the college hoops on any given night.

00:43You're going to be absolutely pushed there,

00:45but ultimately they cover that five and a half mark, 77 to 69.

00:49150 was that total.

00:52So just coming short of that mark,

00:53but this is a big win for the Jayhawks

00:56and another big test for the Tuesday evening.

00:59And in terms of, you know, the young names that we need to know

01:01as we get set at the early mark here in the college hoop season,

01:06Dickinson, he is going to be an absolute problem going forward there

01:09for any of these, you know, blue chip programs trying to topple the Kansas Jayhawks.

01:13He was fantastic again there with 28 points, 13 for 21 shooting.

01:18And again, the difference, it was from out deep from beyond the arc.

01:22The Spartans just sitting at a 12% clip.

01:24That was not good enough, especially in the final couple trying to stay close.

01:28You're right. Slow moving first half, we saw it 30 to 24.

01:32And I believe it's like the 10-minute mark is like 12 to 10.

01:34But in the second half, 47 points out of Kansas, 45 points out of Michigan State.

01:39And you're right, Dubsy, as I talked about in that other game with the Duke Blue Devils,

01:42the second half of that doubleheader,

01:44they just couldn't make any shots from three-point range.

01:46You go three for 24.

01:47You're basically signing your death note on that basketball game

01:50unless you were unbelievable from the floor, which means two-point range.

01:54And you didn't get that out of the Michigan State Spartans yesterday.

01:56Solid win for the Kansas Jayhawks. Good and deep team yesterday.

01:59I just wish my guy Zeke Mayo had scored four more points to cash in a parlay,

02:04but he ends up going two of eight from the field.

02:060 for 3 from three-point range. Only six points.

02:08Like what I saw, though, out of the Kansas Jayhawks.
