Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards says if they are to turn this around it's a players' league and must come from within the locker room and on the field.

00:00Yeah, um, you know, I think going into that one, right, I'm, I'm not going to really focus

00:07on what I can do better and what we can do better as a defense.

00:10And I know the offense is doing the same thing.

00:13We understand as a whole that, honestly, just to kind of whatever it wasn't, it wasn't good

00:18enough, you know, from, from start to finish and that's something we're all accountable

00:22for.

00:23But, you know, complimentary football is a big time thing and, you know, we have to do

00:26our jobs as a defense to, um, try to, you know, create turnovers and do those things

00:30because we pride ourselves on that, right.

00:32And getting three and outs and those things and, um, you know, giving it to the offense

00:36and we know the offense will, will get into their rhythm.

00:38So we're confident in that and we're not going to, um, you know, double back on, on anything

00:42that we've, we've done.

00:43We put in a lot of hard work and, um, we know it's, we know it's going to crack.

00:47It's not to our standard what we've done.

00:49Um, no one's, you know, I, I think a loss is a loss in the NFL and all of them are,

00:55all of them are tough, right?

00:56Whether it's the Hail Mary or this last one or, um, Arizona, that's kinda, that's kinda

01:00how that goes.

01:01Um, and all we can do is figure out a way for it to look better going forward.

01:05Like we, we have to, there's a, there's a sense of urgency and we, we understand that.

01:09But, um, that's one thing that I know can't happen.

01:12I don't know.

01:13I mean, I think for me, this is a, this is a player's league.

01:17This is, you know, we got to go out there and execute this guy.

01:19It's rare that a coach is going to go out there and call a perfect game, right.

01:22He's going to go out there and it's like, that's just how it goes.

01:25We got to go out and execute and make the plays that are out there.

01:27Um, you know, it's so easy to point fingers and make excuses and, and do all that, but

01:34no one's playing perfect right now.

01:35So it's how can each individual turn that around?

01:38Each coach looking to themselves, the players looking at themselves and figure out how we

01:42can make this thing right.
