00:22on the party state committee, finishing in 16th place with 675 votes.

00:28Ramasamy contrasted Gobind's defeat with Stephen Sim's rise to become Penang DAP chairman

00:35He said Sim's victory was due to him being aligned with the dominant faction.

00:41Ramasamy claimed that factional politics exist within DAP and has a bearing on the party's

00:47elections and appointments.

00:50He also said powerful Chinese warlords control access for non-Chinese candidates in DAP,

00:57which in fact limits their rise in ranks despite their talent.
