Readers of Conde Nast Traveller voted for what they thought to be some of the coolest cities to visit on the planet, and this is what they came up with.

00:14coolest cities to visit on the planet and this is what they came up with.

00:21Well it was Sydney in Australia who were heralded as the best city in the world in 2024.

00:27The article embraced the Australian city's unique indoor-outdoor way of life.

00:32The city which came in second on the list was Valencia in Spain which was admired for

00:37its art deco look and beachside resorts and in third place came Singapore in Southeast

00:44Asia which were regarded highly for its spectacular open-air shows.

00:49What other cities featured on this list?

00:52Hong Kong also made the list of best cities in 2024 as did Stockholm in Sweden, New York

00:58and Tokyo in Japan.

01:12That's right it was Singapore which was voted to be the friendliest city in the world in

01:18The city itself is famous for its financial powerhouses and pretty streets.

01:23Condé Nast said Singapore has all the components to achieve the status of a metropolitan utopia.

01:38Indeed I can.

01:39Other cities heralded for their friendliness included the aforementioned Sydney in Australia,

01:44Las Vegas in Nevada and the lively Bangkok in Thailand.

01:48Cape Town in South Africa also made the list with some of its areas having been referred

01:54to as can you believe natural paradises.
