Blackpool coach Richard Keogh shares his brief conversation with striker Jake Beesley after the 27-year-old was forced off through injury in the EFL Trophy tie with Liverpool U21s.

00:00I caught him briefly. Yeah, listen, he looks like he's in a little bit of discomfort, but like I say, you never know until you know.

00:06So, again, like when you're coming off and the emotion is high, it's easy to feel a little bit down.

00:11You know, I've been there myself, but yeah, listen, I just said to him, listen, keep your head up.

00:16You don't know yet. Just make sure you rest, you recover, do all the right things, which he does.

00:21He's a great professional. Until we get the actual official result of what it is, then yeah, like I say, we've got a great medical team here.

00:28And I'm sure they'll prepare him, you know, treat him well. And like I say, once we get a clearer picture, then we'll know more.
