00:00Kansas City is the only undefeated team, they're the favorites to win the AFC and a Super Bowl,

00:08deservedly so, incorrectly so in my opinion. Do they look like the best team in the NFL though

00:14as of this moment? Well I mean they've had they've had a couple of double-digit wins,

00:21they've had a bunch of one-score games but you know when you have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reed

00:26and company who have been there and done that before it's very difficult to finish this team

00:31off because they know how to win those close games here Ben and that is a huge factor. Listen

00:38we saw it for how about what two decades with Tom Brady and the Patriots it was the same thing you

00:42just you knew when they got the ball back in the end of the game with a chance to win it they're

00:47gonna do it and until somebody comes along and looking at their schedule they got Denver coming

00:52up on Saturday in a short week then they've got Buffalo the following week but then Carolina,

00:58Vegas, the Chargers, Cleveland, Houston, Pittsburgh, Denver I mean yeah there is a

01:04chance man an outside chance but I don't see how they're gonna be a dog in any of those games am I

01:10missing something here I mean they should be a favorite in all of them except for maybe Buffalo

01:17they have to go to Orchard Park in two weeks. More than likely Joe if they are not the favorite

01:22in that game it's going to be around a pick'em price early projected lines have KC as a point

01:28point and a half favorite right now the other shortest number which doesn't seem to make a

01:33ton of sense either is against Cleveland on the road as only a two and a half point favorite and

01:39every other game of their nine Kansas City projected right now from where we stand here at

01:44the halfway point is laying at least four points or greater and it's why you see that number it

01:50plus 850 for Kansas City to remain undefeated the entirety of the year 17 games 17 wins that is

01:59unheard of in the NFL of course we've only played 17 games now for three full seasons and yet we

02:07have never seen a team be perfect but what we know about the Chiefs Joe as we focus here on Kansas

02:13City they have played in six consecutive AFC championship games every year that Patrick

02:18Mahomes has been the starting quarterback in five of the six every year up until 2023 KC won at

02:25least 12 games they had home field advantage they hosted that AFC title matchup last year the first

02:31year they were ever booked as a dog or had to go on the road and yet they did it and that's kind of

02:38the thought I would say now Joe on the Chiefs it was almost the overwhelming thought entering this

02:42year and somebody knocks Kansas City until somebody knocks Kansas City from its perch you

02:48almost have to expect the Chiefs to be back there they just find ways to win even if it's not

02:53overwhelmingly impressive at this moment they could care less and you know they've been there

03:00and they've done this before Ben they know you just win the games doesn't make a difference win

03:05the games you know if I'm looking at it I would rather them lose a couple of these games earlier

03:11in the season then because at some point you know regression is coming they're not going to just win

03:17every one score game this year so it's it's a little concerning if I'm a Kansas City backer
