00:49The manifesto's key pledges include providing LPG cylinders at Rs 500 for all households,
00:56with two free cylinders per year.
00:59The party has also pledged to reclaim tribal land occupied by infiltrators and return it
01:04to the tribal communities.
01:06The manifesto also states that children of infiltrators who marry into tribal families
01:10will not receive tribal status.
01:13It also ensures that the Uniform Civil Code will exclude tribal communities.
01:18In a move to reassure students, the BJP has promised to act against those responsible
01:22for recent paper leaks in the state.
01:25Furthermore, the manifesto outlines plans to create 5 lakh self-employment opportunities
01:30for young people over five years.
01:33At the manifesto launch in Raji, Amit Shah criticised the Hemansuri-led government for
01:37failing to protect tribal communities from infiltrators, asserting that the BJP would
01:42put a stop to the influx of Bangladeshis.

03:24The Chief Minister's remarks come a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while
03:28addressing an election rally in Raji, accused the JMM-led government of patronising Bangladeshi
03:34infiltrators, while claiming that the tribal population was dwindling in Jharkhand and
03:39its demography was changing fast.
03:42Amit Shah also promised that the BJP, if voted to power in the upcoming assembly election,
03:46will bring in a stringent law to take back land from infiltrators in Jharkhand, as well
03:51as to drive them out.
03:55In a statement that could set tongues wagging in political circles, Nationalist Congress
04:00Party leader Nawab Malik said he is solely the candidate of the NCP and that the other
04:05Mahayoti allies, Shiv Sena and BJP, are against him.
04:09Malik's remarks came after both the BJP and the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena opposed his
04:14candidature from Mankhud Shivaji Nagar Assembly constituency over his alleged links with people
04:21close to fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
04:24Talking about the allegations over his alleged links with the gang, he said people have even
04:29called him a traitor in the state assembly.
04:31Malik further warned that he will file civil and criminal defamation against those who
04:35spread false allegations against him.
04:38Meanwhile, in another statement, Malik maintained that the results of the upcoming Maharashtra
04:42elections are unpredictable and that party chief Ajit Pawar will play a key role in the
04:47formation of the next government.
04:49Anything can happen in Maharashtra after the results and Ajit Pawar will play the role
04:54of kingmaker, Malik said.
