00:04I mean, you got to be happy with the performance that you put on against a guy who's, you know,

00:08been up there, who's had a shot at some of the best and, you know, still ranked among

00:11the best in that division.

00:22I want to be blessed.

00:24First of all, I want to thank God.

00:25I want to thank everybody, BKFC.

00:30It's been a blessing to me getting this win, you know, against Mr. Wilson, who is ranked

00:35fourth in my division, you know.

00:39I came in there and did what I had to do, you know what I mean?

00:42It was the Strode Show.

00:45It certainly was.

00:46We're going to break down the fight in just a minute, but let's get to know you a little

00:48bit more before that.

00:49You know, for the people who don't know, you know, it's been a long time training for you

00:53in glove boxing.

00:56I saw almost 20 years that you've been, you know, training in boxing with the gloves.

00:59What made you want to make the transition?

01:00What made you want to take them off and take a shot with bare knuckle?

01:03And you know, how have you felt in your couple of fights with the BKFC that you've done and

01:07how has it felt making that transition for you, who's so used to having those gloves

01:11on for so long?

01:13Well, everybody knows I trained with the best in boxing, fought the best, mostly world champions

01:21that are now.

01:23I felt like boxing wasn't for me, you know what I mean?

01:25I felt like I needed more grits, you know what I mean?

01:28More than a sport.

01:29And I felt like BKFC is meant for me.

01:32I got a chance to fight a BKFC 50 and I didn't know what to expect.

01:40And I was like, OK, OK, OK.

01:42And I tried it and I was like, damn, this is what I want to do forever.

01:46You know what I mean?

01:47The rest of my career fighting.

01:52And you know, we've seen you look great in that two wins now in the BKFC.

01:55Both finishes, you know, you talked with the BKFC and the app that you have, you can look

02:03Talk about how comfortable you feel in the BKFC, how you feel like this is your home,

02:06like you just mentioned.

02:07You know, why do you feel like it's so comfortable?

02:08Why do you feel like it's so perfect for you, you know, at this point in your career?

02:14I feel like it's more grit.

02:15It's for like the real fighters, the fighters that I've been through, like as myself, somebody

02:21that I've been through inside and out the ring.

02:26I feel like it's for people who like really want it.

02:31And this is my home.

02:32I felt like the first fight, I was like, this is where I want to be.

02:36This is this is what I really need in my life.

02:40The transition over was amazing.

02:42I love boxing, but I feel like BKFC, the bare knuckle man, is like something I love the

02:49rage.

02:50It's something new and I love it.
