President Xi and Slovakia’s prime minister Fico pledge new strategic partnership in Beijing talks

China has said it will deepen ties with Slovakia in new energy, transport and infrastructure.  President Xi has held talks with Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico in Beijing, where the two countries pledged a new strategic partnership.  Fico has also announced that the two countries will build a factory in Slovakia to produce batteries for electric vehicles.  #China #Slovakia
