00:00The RDRRMC Emergency Operations Center in Region 12 has been elevated to a Red Alert status for the preparation of the UNDAS.

00:10The details of this were reported by Harlem Ferolino, PIA SOC Surgeon.

00:17As part of the preparation for the 2024 UNDAS, the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, or RDRMC,

00:23was appointed by the Office of Civil Defense, or OCD SOC Surgeon, Regional Director Raylindo Anunion,

00:29the Emergency Operations Center, or EOC, of the RDRMC, from 5 p.m. on October 31 until 8 a.m. on November 3,

00:38to ensure that all of its personnel are on standby mode and are ready to respond 24-7 if an incident occurs.

00:45So, our provinces have also raised their alert status to blue, to conduct continuous cross-monitoring around their different municipalities.

01:00They also have a stand-by response team for orientation to their LGUs just in case of an emergency.

01:09Anunion stated that in an online meeting of the RDRMC, the agencies placed their staff in preparation for the UNDAS.

01:18Among those who prepared were the Police Regional Office 12, or Pro-12, which activated the UNDAS plan,

01:24along with more than 1,400 people who were positioned in the priority areas.

01:29The police, security forces, and force multipliers are ready for our incoming activities.

01:38Also, since the day of our Places of Convergence, we have a total of 185 PNP, and a total of 625.

01:48All of them will secure our UNDAS.

01:53The Oflanca-Luana Bureau of Fire Protection has also taken action to provide emergency assistance and to remind residents.

02:01Aside from that, our fire trucks are also mobilized for information drive to give to the community reminders

02:11that if they are going to leave their families during this season, that they will be visiting some provinces,

02:20and we are reminding them to turn off electrical powers, that they will be left at home, and gas.
