00:00On the last day of Malaysia International Halal Showcase 124,

00:04they introduced the existing Halal-certified businesses

00:09that are excelling when it comes to promoting the Halal industry in their country.

00:15Another significant milestone was established by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation or MATRADE.

00:34This is because of the 11th edition of Malaysia International Halal Showcase Awards or MIHAS Awards

00:42that was held at the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

00:48Here, they introduced the businesses that have a significant contribution when it comes to the global Halal industry

00:55and showed the importance of sustainability and innovation in the Halal market today.

01:02These awards were presented to recognize the excellence, innovation, and creativity

01:10demonstrated by participating exhibitors regarding their Halal products and service offerings.

01:18For the past 11 editions, the MIHAS Awards celebrated more than 80 winners.

01:2514 awards from different categories were awarded at the awarding ceremony of MIHAS 2024.

01:32Six were awarded for the Products and Services Excellence Award.

01:37Three were awarded for the Malaysia Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Excellence Award,

01:42while four were awarded for the Products and Services Innovative Award

01:47and one was awarded for the Products and Services Sustainability Award.

01:54Such a glorious moment as we see our incredible lineup of award recipients representing each.

02:01In the awarding ceremony, the chairman of MATRADE, Datu Seri Rizal Merikan Naina Merikan,

02:11also shared that MIHAS 2024 has surpassed their total revenue target for this year.

02:21During the opening in PM, the Prime Minister's speech, he has set P3.5 billion to be generated this year.

02:29I wish to share to all of you, as of last night, Alhamdulillah,

02:37the total sales that have been recorded, generated from MIHAS stood at P3.85 billion.

02:47On the last day of MIHAS 2024, it only shows how great the potential of the halal industry is.

02:59Therefore, it is only right for us to help to make it even more prosperous.
