01:50Ladies and gentlemen,
01:51various efforts have been made to raise awareness
01:54among the public regarding this job offer scam syndicate,
01:57including by utilizing social media platforms
02:00and by implementing early diplomacy programs throughout the country.
02:04Recently, through the Pocket Talk programme,
02:07which is based on the job offer scam syndicate,
02:10was held on 20 October 2024 in the city of Kinabalu, Sabah,
02:14at the end of the Madani Rakyat Zone Sabah programme.

02:35to be vigilant and not be easily swayed
02:38by the job offer ads abroad
02:41that promise decent and unrealistic salaries.
02:45I would also like to remind the public
02:48not to take any risks in order to get a high salary
02:51for a job that does not exist
02:53because you may put yourself in a very dangerous situation.
02:58If there is any problem,

03:14Thank you, Mr. President.
03:17In the cases that I handle,
03:19these syndicates recruit them
03:22through Malaysian representatives in Malaysia.
03:29My question is,
03:30how many of these syndicates representatives in Malaysia
03:33have been arrested and brought to justice in court?
03:40Thank you, Mr. President.
03:42For information,
03:43based on the report or information that we obtained from the PDRM,
03:50and through a special authority that has been established,
03:53we have 10 agencies in this special authority
03:58to discuss and ensure the best options
04:01to solve these issues.
04:04And in connection with the question raised by Mr. Rahmat earlier,
04:07through a meeting that has been held
04:13and held by the PDRM in Mapo.
04:16What is Mapo, Mr. Rahmat?
04:18Mapo is an anti-trafficking and anti-immigrant meeting
04:25in the past 26 years.
04:27In that meeting, the PDRM has given information that,
04:34in addition to the information or data that I mentioned earlier,
04:38they also stated that about 90% of these victims are actually not victims,
04:45but they are part of the operators
04:49who are involved in this syndicate.
04:52So far, as many as five people have been brought to justice
05:01under this ATIPSOM Act,
05:04the Act of Trafficking of People and Immigrants.
05:10So this is one of the efforts that we will continue to work together
05:14with the local authorities
05:16and also through the special authority established earlier,
05:2110 agencies in it,
05:22we will continue to discuss and take approach
05:27on how to deal with this issue.
05:29Thank you, Mr. Rahmat.
05:34Thank you, Mr. Rahmat.
