00:00There is a massive World Series game tonight in New York City and all eyes are on Otani.

00:04Looked like devastation of an injury.

00:06Now we're hearing the possibility of playing tonight, Doc.

00:09What's up with that?

00:11Well, yeah.

00:12I mean, it's a possibility of playing is certainly good news.

00:15But in-game, I actually was at a Halloween party and then the sixth-core staff sent me the video.

00:20And that was a dislocated shoulder.

00:22And that's not good news.

00:24It can tear the labrum or the capsule.

00:26The only good news is that it's, A, he's not a field position player, and B, it's his back shoulder hitting,

00:34which is better than front shoulder.

00:36But it's still going to be a little bit of an issue, especially the way.

00:40So if you dislocate your shoulder, you don't want to get up in this position.

00:44Well, Otani kind of holds his back out and up high by the ear when he gets ready in his stance and load.

00:51So, look, Otani, if he can play, he's going to play.

00:54That's what Dave Roberts said.

00:56If he feels good enough to go, I see no reason why he wouldn't be in the lineup.

00:59That's not exactly a ringing endorsement that he's fine, right?

01:06Even if he does play, I don't see him being MVP Shohei Otani.

01:12Look, is he one of the top nine batters for the Dodgers?

01:16Probably is.

01:17Any semblance of him deserves to be in the lineup.

01:21But is he the league MVP Shohei Otani?

01:24I think it's more likely he misses the rest of the World Series than he's MVP Otani when he plays.

01:32So it's going to be a version somewhere in the middle.
