00:00It's, it's been good, Scotty, it, they, they went through a little bit of a lull with the

00:07bats, you know, a week or so ago, they actually played much, much better this team on the

00:12road than they do at home.

00:14And that goes all the way back to the end of last year when they were in that dog fight

00:17for the division.

00:18And it looked like, boy, the schedule was real favorable.

00:20They had the A's and the Royals, a whole bunch of games at home.

00:23And they went like two and nine on a homestand down the stretch for whatever reason, this

00:28team plays better on the road and they play up to and down to the level of their competition

00:33this year.

00:34You know, some of the series of late that they've actually had a lot of success.

00:38They won a series against the Dodgers.

00:39They swept the Orioles, you know, about six weeks ago, they, they, you know, they, they,

00:45they took, they, they, they beaten a bunch of teams that would be in the play.

00:49They swept the Red Sox in Boston this weekend and tamed the hottest offense in baseball.

00:54So it's not record-wise, it's not where the Astros are used to being, but you can see

01:00kind of the, you can still see somewhere in there, the team that, that has made it to

01:05seven straight ALCSs.

01:06And a lot of the things they were dealing with early in the year were injuries to the

01:10pitching staff.

01:11And they've just had some huge performances over the last couple of months from some of

01:14the young pitchers.

01:15Hunter Brown in particular has really been like an ace over the last couple of months.

01:21And now you start to see Spencer Arrighetti putting some good starts together.

01:24Ronel Blanco has done some good things.

01:26They're going to get Verlander back here pretty soon.

01:27He's obviously an older guy, but, and then we'll see with Cucucci gets his third start

01:32tonight.

01:33So it's come together in a very strange way for them.

01:35But as you talked about, I was listening to you guys in the previous segment.

01:40It's still the old guard of Altuve and Bregman and Jordan that getting it done with the bats

01:45that are ultimately going to be what probably carries this game.
