00:37I am seeing his judgments as a judge of Balochistan.

00:42I am seeing his judgments as a judge of the Supreme Court.

00:46And the way he steered the court as a Chief Justice.

00:51In Balochistan, he spoke about the environment, women's rights, schools and many such things.

01:02You see, there was no High Court at that time, there were no sub-judges.

01:07So he did the Balochistan High Court.

01:09He removed nine stains.

01:12It is not an easy task.

01:14Especially for a person who has no experience of working as a judge.

01:20So I think that is a legacy that he did.

01:24Secondly, the case that took place here in the Supreme Court,

01:30there is a case of Hubara Bastard, in which he worked very crazily.

01:36And he was overruled there.

01:39But that again is a judgment in which he spoke about many reforms and did everything.

01:47There is a case in front of you, the case of the protest.

01:50In that, what he highlighted is that it is the fundamental right of everyone to protest.

02:01It is the fundamental right to get your point heard and to take part in the political process.

02:07But there are some restrictions.

02:10So this is another landmark judgment, which I would say.

02:14Then his contribution, the case that came to the Military Courts,

02:19where he defined what is due process,

02:24and what is military justice and justice in the armed courts, he compared it.

03:12What other challenges are there for the new Chief Justice?

03:15Yes, look, the new Chief Justice, I am sure, I hope,

03:19because I am also seeing him when he was in Peshawar High Court.

03:25When he was Assistant Advocate General, I saw him working.

03:29I saw him working as a lawyer.

03:31I saw him working as a judge of the High Court.

03:34And the way he brought reforms in KPK, as a Chief Justice,

03:41and the induction of civil judges and all these things,

03:44this is a worthy challenge.

03:46Now he will take that experience forward, I hope.

03:50The first thing is to call the full court,

03:54to hold meetings of the full court.

03:57And I think that just like the meeting of the Cabinet is held every Tuesday,

04:04similarly, the meeting of the full court should also be held on a separate day.

04:08All the judges, you are the judge,

04:10you should sit and look at the activities of the previous days,

04:15and decide the path forward.

04:17So all these things together,

04:22Remember, collective decisions are better decisions.
