What are your thoughts on the idea of legalising assisted dying for terminally ill people?

00:00And I think it is case by case and I'm not sure we have the resources for it to be case by case

00:05but I don't know is it humane and ethical to force someone to continue living when they

00:13aren't healthy enough to like I don't know live a fulfilling life anymore but again mental health

00:21has to be considered and I'm not sure what checks you do but there would have to be a lot of mental

00:25health screening but I don't know in some cases maybe. I wouldn't want to see any of my sort of

00:31family suffering. One of my analogies would be you wouldn't put your dog through it so why would

00:37you put one of your family through it? So if one of your family's in pain and they're not going to

00:46be able to recover from whatever illness that they have maybe it is better for them.

00:51You just have to think about like you know they're not being pressured by their family to

00:57to take that to take that route.
