00:28director of the Living Wage Foundation, said the new rate, which has increased by 70p from
00:34£13.15, would make a massive difference to workers. Across the rest of the UK, the real
00:41living wage rate rose by 5% to £12.60. This is separate to the government's national
00:47living wage. A full-time worker on the London Living Wage will now earn £4,700 extra across
00:54the year compared with someone on the national living wage.
