00:00The banner raising, you know, the Nuggets beat the Lakers last year,

00:04two years prior the Warriors smoked the Lakers, apparently everybody beats the Lakers on opening night.

00:08Nice, not the T-Wolves.

00:10I was gonna say besides the Wolves last night.

00:11You know, two years ago the Lakers got smoked on opening night by the Warriors,

00:16so like, it is banner night, it's an electric building, you expect the team to play well,

00:20you expect them to look good in that scenario.

00:22That's... I expected them to defend their championship,

00:24that's way better than I expected them to look.

00:26Like, they looked borderline unbeatable.

00:28So, is anybody beating them?

00:30I don't know how you make a case for that.

00:33The case would be the Celtics are complacent, or Tatum, or Jalen Brown.

00:38You mean in the playoffs, right?

00:39Yeah.

00:39Obviously they're gonna lose regular season games, and what's funny is,

00:42these great teams, you can look back in the history of it,

00:44even last year's Celtics team, but they weren't like a historic regular season team.

00:48But like, even like the 86 Celtics, like there would be...

00:52Like, they would lose to the Pistons.

00:53Not the 86 Celtics, that was a good team, but like, this version of like, you know what I mean?

00:58Like, two, three months from now, back-to-back, things aren't going well,

01:01it's like, oh, you're playing the Blazers and you lose.

01:02You're like, wait, what?

01:03Yeah.

01:03So like, there's one-off weird games like that, but in a seven-game series, I can't see it.

01:08And even, I'll give you like, people are like, well, you know, if everybody stays healthy,

01:12not even, not even.

01:14Like, if one or two of their guys are out, that might be how deep they are.

01:17Now, if it's Tatum and Brown, different story.

01:18Correct.

01:19But if it's like Porzingis and another bench guy...

01:21Porzingis doesn't play a minute this year, they win.

01:23They win the title.

01:24They win the whole thing.

01:25And it's like overkill with him.

01:26Yeah.

01:27Like, with him, it's like, he's ready to sweep.

01:29He helps.

01:29I'd rather have him than not, but if he never plays a minute again for this team,

01:35they win again, or at least they should, is how I feel about it.

01:37Yeah, I don't really see it.

01:39I mean, I guess, especially because now that this group has been together for a full year

01:44and some of the stars even longer, and then if you even include when those guys did play

01:48with Horford and then he was gone, then he was back, there's a lot of continuity there

01:52where a lot of other teams are kind of chasing it.

01:55And you saw Lillard and Giannis last year.

01:57Didn't work.

01:58Paul George and Embiid this year.

02:00Might not work.

02:01They're both hurt already.

02:02You know, Bridges and Towns and Brunson.

02:05Might not work.

02:06Didn't look good last night.

02:07Anytime you throw in, like, that's what the Celtics also did.

02:10Now, it worked for them last year.

02:11They threw some pieces together.

02:12But prior to that, maybe Kyrie, maybe Kemba, maybe Brogdon.

02:16Like, all those different combinations didn't work.
