00:06This is based on Okta Research's latest Tugon ng Masa survey where respondents who consider their standard of living as poor went down to 43 percent.
00:17This marks a 5 percent decrease from the previous 48 percent in the second quarter.
00:23This shows 1.4 million families have improved their living conditions and Filipinos who are experiencing hunger also decreased to 11 percent from the previous 16 percent.
00:35This is equivalent to 1.3 million Filipino families who are no longer experiencing hunger.
00:41Meanwhile, food poverty in the country was recorded at 42 percent which is considered stable.
00:47The survey was conducted from August 28 to September 2 with around 1,200 adult respondents.
