00:13Here are 10 games that were delayed into 2025.

00:47If you've been keeping up on news of this game's development,

00:50you know it has been troubled to say the least.

00:53A sequel to the 2004 cult classic based on the tabletop RPG,

00:57Vampire The Masquerade, Bloodlines 2 was announced back in

01:012019 for a March 2020 release window.

01:05Many people working on it have since left,

01:07either by their own decision or not,

01:10which has led to multiple delays.

01:13In 2021, publisher Paradox Interactive announced that

01:16the developer Hardsuit Labs was no longer working on it,

01:20and the game was almost canceled.

01:22The Chinese Room was announced as the new developer in

01:252023 and a late 2024 release window was given.

01:29Sadly, in August of this year,

01:32it suffered yet another delay,

01:34this time to the first half of 2025.

02:54I always dreamt of leaving this place.

03:00Becoming more than a peasant.

03:03The original Kingdom Come Deliverance,

03:05released in 2018,

03:06gained a passionate following thanks to its historical focus.

03:10According to developer Warhorse Studios,

03:13which began work on a sequel in 2019 and has

03:16grown significantly since then,

03:18the next chapter will feature

03:20multiple elements they couldn't include in the first.

03:23Picking back up on the hero Henry,

03:25players will fight against the forces of Holy Roman Emperor Sigismund

03:29during civil war in the 15th century.

03:32The game was announced in April of 2024

03:35with a plan of release towards the end of the year.

03:37That turned out to be fairly premature since

03:41the game was pushed back just a few months later in August.

03:45It will now be released on February 11th, 2025.

04:05Ionlands really loves itself a cyberpunk setting.

04:09After releasing the 2020 adventure game Cloudpunk,

04:12the developer's next game is Nivalis,

04:15set in the titular setting from its previous release,

04:18but with different gameplay.

04:20The life sim will give players total control

04:23in how they spend their time

04:24and what profession they choose to chase,

04:27starting small and building up to gain glory and wealth.

04:31While players were initially meant to enjoy it sometime this year,

04:34the developer issued a delay back in June.

04:37It seems Nivalis has grown grander than they had imagined.

04:40The update came with a trailer showing off new locations

04:43and introducing a key new character in Ava,

04:46along with a new release window of spring 2025.

04:50And I can confirm that you are performing above average.

04:56Tales of Iron 2, Whiskers of Winter.

05:00As war raged in the south,

05:03a terrible evil stirred in the north.

05:07With its Souls-like gameplay, strong art style,

05:10and unique premise,

05:112021's Tales of Iron gained a lot of love.

05:15It followed a young rat warrior

05:17fighting to defend his kingdom from an army of frog invaders.

05:21Despite that setup, it was actually pretty dark.

05:25It's not something we would have necessarily expected

05:27to get a sequel of,

05:29so it came as a nice surprise

05:31when one was announced in March of 2024.

05:33Focusing on a new character and conflict,

05:36only a 2024 release window was given.

05:39However, in August, publisher United Label

05:41stated the game had been pushed back to February 2025.

05:46Along with a new trailer,

05:47the update came with several gameplay features,

05:50as well as confirmation that Doug Cockle,

05:53Geralt of Rivia himself, was returning as the narrator.

05:57Tales of Iron 2, Whiskers of Winter.

06:01Little Nightmares III.

06:03Although the original developer on the series,

06:06Tarsier Studios, was purchased by Embracer Group in 2019,

06:11publisher Bandai Namco plans on continuing

06:13with the Little Nightmares IP.

06:16A third game was revealed in 2023

06:18and is being worked on by Supermassive Games,

06:21known for Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures anthology.

06:24It will follow two new children

06:26trapped in a horrific setting,

06:28each with a new identity.

06:35You can either play alone with an AI companion or in co-op.

06:39It was given a general 2024 release window,

06:42but then in May of this year,

06:44the team revealed it had been pushed back to 2025

06:47to ensure the game's quality is of the highest caliber.

06:51We'll have to wait a little longer on anything specific.

06:54If you were one of many to fall in love

07:12with 2016's Hyper Light Drifter

07:14and its successor, 2021's Solar Ash,

07:18you were probably excited to hear

07:19about another game in the works.

07:21Being an open-world roguelike

07:23with the option to play with two others,

07:25Hyper Light Breaker looks to be an expansive step up

07:29from its predecessors.

07:30Developer Heart Machine and publisher Ark Games

07:33revealed the title in 2022

07:35and planned to release it in early access in 2023.

07:39However, it clearly hit a few roadblocks.

07:42It was pushed back to summer 2024,

07:45but once again in August, it was delayed to early 2025.

08:23but the visuals are also very impressive.

08:26It utilizes pixel art,

08:27but with dynamic lighting and camera work

08:30to give it modern style.

08:31Originally intended for a 2022 release,

08:34it's another game that has been hit by several delays.

08:38The latest came in August of this year

08:40when developer Sad Cat Studios gave it a blanket 2025 release.

08:53Obsidian Entertainment is usually trustworthy

08:56when it comes to delivering solid action RPGs.

08:59Announced in 2020,

09:01Avowed looked to be their take

09:03on an open Skyrim-like first-person adventure.

09:07It's a game that's been a huge hit

09:09since its launch in January of this year.

09:12Along with it being set in the Pillars of Eternity universe,

09:15the developer's track record

09:17made it one of our most anticipated games of the year.

09:20However, like many games on this list,

09:22it was delayed back in August,

09:25with Xbox stating it was to give players

09:27more breathing room with their backlogs.

09:29The new date, though,

09:31is a bit of a surprise.

09:32It's been a while since we've seen

09:34a game that's been so well-received

09:36that we can't wait to see what it's going to be like.
