00:35The simplest explanation is the next owner could move the team, well, we know that.

00:43And they're going to need a lease.

00:44The new owner is going to want a lease arrangement somewhere, wherever it may be.

01:08So based on what you just said, Dan, this is what I heard as a lifelong White Sox fan,

01:13the White Sox are leaving Chicago, it's just a matter of when.

01:18We know that there's no Governor Jim Thompson in office right now.

01:23You don't have a White Sox fan who's going to go buttonholing people at the 11th hour

01:29of a state assembly negotiation to ramrod through a sweetheart deal to use public money

01:37to build you a stadium.

01:39No appetite for it.

01:41But because it happened, that's what Jerry knows.

01:45And he had big Jim Thompson there pushing people around and horse trading with everybody

01:49and playing Illinois politics because he was a White Sox fan.

01:53And the climate was different then, but that's what he knows.

01:57Remember that Dave Stewart is a Tony La Russa guy.
