'Gifted' Sunderland man tells how music shaped his life

00:00I said, how did you get it? He said, oh, I just walked in with it, what have you been

00:07doing all day? And I just played them a blues riff and turned what they said into a song.

00:12And I was just there. And all these kids and all the time, all I knew was I'd been gifted

00:19and the dyslexia to me was the best thing what's ever happened in my life because it

00:24made me so grounded that I wasn't looking for anything for myself. I didn't want it.
