00:00These two Chinese nationals fell into the hands of the police after their mode of fraud was exposed.

00:10Alia Zheng and Alia Shuang were arrested for theft and one of them is still in jail.

00:19Their last victim was a Chinese woman.

00:23Based on the investigation, the suspects and victims are known online.

00:28The victim and one of the suspects met at a hotel in Pasay City

00:34to exchange their Chinese Yuan currency for Philippine Pesos.

00:41It is estimated that the victim will exchange more than 150,000 Pesos.

00:47But when she arrived at the hotel, it seemed that she had been robbed.

00:53So when she was at the door, they pulled her inside according to her.

00:57Then they shot her, robbed her, and put her in a room where she was buried.

01:05Aside from the two arrested, there are two more Chinese who are still looking for the police.

01:12The female suspect is the informant who talked to the victim online.

01:17It is possible that the thief is the main motive for the crime.

01:21And Alia Zheng was only talked to, so she pretended to be the witness.

01:25I tried to get the two suspects' statements, but the Chinese man refused.

01:31While one of the suspects does not speak English or Tagalog.

01:38It is clear from the investigation that the male Chinese suspect was previously imprisoned,

01:44but he used a different name now.

01:58Just like how the suspects investigated in different ways,

02:02they did not ignore the possibility of the arrest of a member of a large syndicate that operates in the country.

02:10As of now, we are verifying with the Immigration Bureau

02:15if there are any other cases that are facing our arrested suspects,

02:24as well as our at-large suspects.

02:26I went to the hotel where the crime was committed, but we were not talked to by their official.

02:32But according to the employees, most of their prisoners are Chinese.

02:38To our fellow countrymen, as well as to our foreign nationals who are here in our country

02:43for vacation or for work,

02:45let's make sure that our transactions are legitimate.

02:51The two Chinese arrested are facing a robbery case,

02:55while there is an additional rape case against the innocent victim.
