The effect of the northeasterly wind flow or the cold wind is still continuing from here in the northeastern part of the island
00:06
and it is still bringing strong rains here in the northern Luzon.
00:10
While in the remaining part of our country, there are still localized thunderstorms,
00:14
especially in the afternoon until the evening.
00:16
Based on our latest satellite animation,
00:19
we do not expect a typhoon to enter our Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days,
00:24
but we continue to monitor for possible formations of shallow circulation or low-pressure area
00:30
here in the east of the country.
00:32
And we do not expect this to be a typhoon right now.
00:37
Today, we still expect a high chance of rain here in the Cagayan Valley,
00:41
Cordillera Administrative Region, and Lalawigan ng Aurora
00:44
because of the northeasterly wind flow.
00:46
The rains are still weak and sometimes they get stronger from the afternoon until the evening
00:51
so be careful of possible floods and landslides,
00:54
and always stay tuned for our updates.
00:57
In the remaining part of Luzon, there is still a part that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy,
01:02
from morning until afternoon.
01:03
But there are areas here in the remaining part of Central Luzon plus Ilocos Region
01:08
where there will be isolated rains.
01:11
If it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
01:13
a large part of Luzon will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms
01:17
that usually last for two to three hours.
01:20
Our temperature in Metro Manila is still from 25 to 32 degrees
01:25
while in Baguio, it remains cold from 17 to 22 degrees Celsius.
01:30
For our countrymen here in Palawan,
01:32
as well as in Western Visayas and Negros Island Region,
01:36
we still expect fair weather conditions from morning until afternoon
01:39
while in the central and eastern portions of Visayas,
01:42
partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
01:44
If it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
01:46
a large part of Visayas and Palawan will have cloudy skies
01:50
with a high chance of rain showers and thunderstorms.
01:53
So make sure that we still have an umbrella.
01:57
Our temperature in Metro Cebu is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:02
And lastly, for our countrymen in Mindanao,
02:05
we still expect sunny weather most of Mindanao from morning until afternoon.
02:10
There will be both hot and foggy afternoons,
02:13
but if it reaches the afternoon until the evening,
02:16
there will be a lot of clouds, especially near the mountains,
02:20
and we still expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms
02:23
that usually last for two to three hours.
02:26
So bring an umbrella if you're going out, especially if it reaches the afternoon.
02:31
Our temperature in Zamboanga City is the hottest up to 34 degrees Celsius
02:36
while in Davao City, up to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:40
As of now, until the next few days,
02:42
we still don't expect a gale warning or a rise in clouds.
02:46
Generally, the southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have moderate to moderate clouds
02:51
while the northern and central Luzon will have moderate to moderate clouds up to 2.5 meters.
02:56
And if there are thunderstorms, it's possible that it will reach 2.5 meters
03:00
in our neighboring countries.
03:04
Starting tomorrow until Monday,
03:06
we will have two weather systems,
03:08
the northeasterly wind flow in the northern Luzon
03:11
and the easterlies in the northern part of our country,
03:14
especially if it reaches late Sunday until the middle of next week.
03:19
There is a high chance of rain here in the northern Luzon
03:21
including Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Region, and Aurora over the weekend.
03:26
If it reaches Sunday until Monday,
03:29
there is a high chance of rain in Cagayan Valley,
03:31
Aurora, Quezon, and some parts of Bicol Region because of the easterlies.
03:36
As for the places we haven't mentioned,
03:38
including Metro Manila,
03:39
we will still experience partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies
03:43
when it reaches the afternoon,
03:44
and there is still a chance of rainfall or thunderstorms.
